Abstract
These brief case studies of "flexible funding" illustrate how people with developmental disabilities in several states use funding from multiple sources—Vocational Rehabilitation, Medicaid, Social Security Plans for Achieving Self Support, state Departments of Developmental Disabilities, among other sources—to pay for needed job supports in employment and self-employment. In many cases, these include job coaches and assistants to provide personal support.
