THE JOB ACCOMMODATION NETWORK ANNOUNCES ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN BOSTON, SEPTEMBER 18-19, 2006
MORGANTOWN, WV - The Job Accommodation Network (JAN), the nation's foremost provider of workplace accommodation information and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), will unite experts in job accommodation and disability employment law during JAN's Fifth Annual Conference, Empowering Employers to Build an Inclusive Workforce, September 18-19, 2006, at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport.

Continuing the commitment to an inclusive workforce, innovation, and organizational excellence, this exciting event provides a unique learning opportunity for human resource managers, compliance officers, disability program managers, and other professionals. JAN staff and national experts will emphasize ways of enhancing an organization's ability to accommodate and employ individuals with disabilities. Training sessions will include three training tracks addressing accommodation strategies, ADA/legal issues, and innovative employment practices. Continuing education credit is available.

The keynote sessions will feature Christine M. Griffin, Commissioner of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC); John D. Kemp, Principal, Powers, Pyles, Sutter & Verville; Dr. Roy Grizzard, Assistant Secretary for Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor; and Dinah F.B. Cohen, Director of the Department of Defense (DoD) Computer/Electronics Accommodations Program (CAP).

Registration is limited to 300 participants and includes continental breakfasts, two lunches, breaks, and a reception with hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. In addition, exhibits of disability-related products and services will be open throughout the conference. Exhibitors are encouraged to reserve booth space early as availability is limited.
