Summary

This presentation will summarize the current findings of the Center for Personal Assistance Services' research into promising pratices for employers providing workplace personal assistance services (PAS). The promising practices overcome barriers in employer and PAS user perception, preparation, and attitude as well as organizational structure. These practices contribute to the hiring, retaining,or promoting of workers with disabilities; they are available in a written policy; and they are longstanding.
