Hear Stories from Other PAS Users!

The Center for Personal Assistance Services is committed to including the perspectives of PAS users in Center research, training, dissemination, and technical assistance. For many people using PAS, hearing about the successes, struggles, and daily life of others in similar situations can be important.

On this page, we will be presenting stories about people using PAS. To start off, here are the stories of two PAS users who have worked for the Center.

These stories have been reproduced in Success Stories 2004: Consumer Perspectives, a publication that highlights a variety of successes as told by people whose lives have been positively affected due to involvement with a National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) supported project. The publication is based on items reported to the National Center for the Dissemination of Disability Research (NCDDR) in 2004.
